Tea plantation in Kaita regions (Mimasaka city)
An artwork of black porgy at Uno port (Tamano city)
There is a huge artwork of black porgy at Uno port which is an entrance of the main island of Japan for the islands of Seto Inland Sea. Garbage and flotsam found at the coast, such as tires abd floats are used. This is a symbol of Uno port to greet tourists.
Kaita is one of Okayama Prefecture’s tea growing regions. “Kaita tea” cultivated in the mountains with pure air and water is loved by many people. Fresh green leaves cover the fields brightly in the beginning of summer. You can enjoy tea picking until early in August.
